Came across this intereseting news article today, It got me thinking… Isn’t ‘dark matter’ like what people used to call “ether” way back when.
Certainly there is some event/mathematics that cannot be yet explained. Just like before all of the chemical elements were discovered, there was this ‘Ether’ stuff that people believed floated around and was responsible for say example ‘light travelling through no medium’.
Of course ‘Dark Matter’ seems to be a more ‘Sci-Fi’ type term, but I figure eventually, once a new way of accounting for these observable events is explained..Dark Matter will remain in ‘Sci-Fi’ realm…of course I might have thought that about ‘anti-mattter’ too !
The ideas on dark matter is wrong. Matter has motion because dark matter moves it. The flow of dark matter is so complex, that it causes al other motion to occur, even to the subatomic level. What we observe n the mtion of matter is a reaction to the effect dark matter has on it. This is why you cannot go to complete absolute zero temperature wise; to reach perfect zero, you would had to be able to exclude all dark matter from interacting with regular matter, and we cannot do that. Also, I believe if you did that, matter would cease to exist.
