I have in my possession a magic wooden table. Ostensibly normal looking, the secret to it's power lies in it's construction. Forged in the fires of mount Olympus, every square inch was skillfully hammered together by Hephasteus, the Greek god of craftmanship. Each piece of wood was harvested from sacred oak. Each nail is made entirely from Zeus's beard, which was melted and reforged specifically for use as nails.

There are several, implicit, principles which are of extreme importance to individual learning. I cannot speak for all people and in fact can only speak of myself. It is through these principles that I believe humans can evolve to higher levels of understanding and reasoning.
If teaching to any person or group of people it is important to insure that these principles can be used freely by each of the learning members of the group. It is my belief that any hindrance, causing students not to effectively use these principles should not be tolerated.
I was walking past the mall the other day, and I caught smell of a familiar fragrance that reminded me of my father, and brought a smile to my face, and I paused a moment to wonder, how will I be remembered?
Steven Covey, in his 7 Habits book, talks about “Beginning with the end in mind”. In the past few years prior to my father’s death, he began smoking a pipe. If you’ve ever been around someone smoking a pipe, you’ll instantly recognize the fragrance it leaves. Our sense of smell is thought by some to be one of the most powerful triggers of our memory.
